The man bit the snake that bit him

A resident of the Indian state of Bihar bit the snake that bit him, India Today writes about this. It is noted that the incident happened a few days ago. Builder Santosh Lohar was sleeping when a snake attacked him.

"The man caught the snake with an iron rod and bit it three times, as a result of which the reptile died," the publication states.

The man was taken to the hospital. his life is not in danger.

Later, Lohar explained his action as follows: "In my village, there is a belief that if a snake bites you, you have to bite it several times to neutralize the poison."
