Armenian chess players won the 2nd and 3rd positions in the international tournament

A lightning chess tournament was held within the framework of the "8th Khavaran International" tournament in the city of Birjand, Iran. This is reported by the Chess Federation of Armenia.

Grandmaster Hrayr Simonyan took the 2nd position in the tournament, who scored 9 points out of 11 possible.

FIDE master Edgar Hayrapetyan took 3rd place with 8.5 points.
