Abovyantsi brothers broke the trunk of a car in Artashat and stole 700,000 drams worth of property.

On the morning of March 1, a citizen called the operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and reported that about 700,000 drams worth of property was stolen from the trunk of her husband's VAZ-2106 parked in the yard of one of the buildings on Patkanyan Street in Artashat.

An operative group from the Artashat police department has left for the specified address. It was found that between 18:00 on February 29 and 8:20 on March 1, they broke into the trunk of "VAZ-2106" and stole a drilling machine and a water pump.

The prepared documents were sent to the Ararat Regional Investigation Department, where criminal proceedings were initiated.

As a result of operative-investigative measures undertaken by the criminal detectives of the Artashat department, it was found that the mentioned theft was committed by two brothers, 34 and 36 years old, residents of Abovyan city. They were invited to the Artashat police department, where they confessed about the theft as a result of the explanatory work.

The brothers were presented to the Ararat Marz Investigation Department of KP.

The thief has been detected.
